It might be true that “Money doesn’t buy happiness.” But it does buy dog and cat food. And medicine. And…ok, you see where this is leading.
Being a non-profit organization, HSSET relies on donations to keep our doors open. Your generousity helps us save lives. Your gift goes directly toward giving our animal orphans the best care possible until we can find them a forever home. There are many ways to contribute to HSSET.

Monthly Giving
Our “Pennies a Day” program is the easiest way to make sure you are providing life saving support to the animals at the shelter each month. Any amount helps. Even “pennies a day.”

  • Memorial Gifts honor the memory of a friend or the departured of a loved pet.
  • Honorary Gifts pay tribute to someone special by remembering special days such as birthdays or anniversaries.

Our Shelter Dogs Need Dog Beds!
Our shelter dogs sure would love a bed to rest their head on at night. If you could possibly donate a dog bed to help make our dogs’ stay at the shelter more comfortable while they await their loving homes, please donate today.
Give While You Grocery Shop at Kroger
With the Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program Kroger donates $1 million annually. The Humane Society of Southeast Texas earns a percentage of the $1 million equal to the percentage of the total earned contributions attributable to Humane Society participants that use their Kroger Plus card. To enroll, click here to print the Customer Enrollment Letter and take it with you next time you shop at Kroger. They will scan the bar code and you'll be helping us help the animals every time you grocery shop.
